One week in quarantine; one more week to go. Our community makes things easier on us. There are 5 families quarantining at one time. Poems on Saturday

We woke up on the weekend, recorded our temperatures on the government app, started the laundry and wrote some poetry. Mind you, I was not part of this spontaneous burst of creative energy. I was taking a shower. Later when I came out of our bedroom the girls asked me to come read some poems.

Entry #3 during COVID

Our department director will re-enter South Korea today. She will arrive with her husband and their 2 young children. Their family are our upstairs neighbors. Another new professor and her family moved in days ago and then out of the blue she fell and broke her knee! She had to have surgery the next afternoon.

In the local municipality we had to get tested again. Now we are awaiting test results. The COVID test was rough. Eyes water and really it is a painful, impersonal process. Since there is both the throat and nasal sample taken, it takes a bit of endurance. That was our COVID test #5. It was
